He did that all night. He kept changing his phrasing on many songs just to catch a breath in between words. He also messed up the lyrics a few times and mumbled incoherrently at times. He seems to be singing only vowels whenever there's a "tough" patch in a song.

Agreed. Just listening to the rest of it while I study. Someone mentioned LH earlier, I couldn't believe it. He's started to 'speak' it like he does WWBTF... what tiny amount of guts half of these new songs had has been lost with JBJ doing this.

I don't know why some people think there's enjoyment in any of this, I'd love him to sort his vocals out and find this absolutely horrific.

At least I enjoyed it a lot. And I don't understand why you have to be suspicious about the people who enjoyed it. I'm happy if somebody is enjoying the shows... I was there in GC and really enjoyed it. Jon had some issues with his voice but there were good backings, the crowd was singing and I was singing. It didn't bother me at all. It's not a singing competition, just a rock concert. We know Jon's problems so let's just try to enjoy what he has to offer and at least let the other people enjoy it if you don't.

In These Arms: http://youtu.be/xJiacMVU0ZA

Check "These are our words..." onwards. Not enjoyable.

You've completely misunderstood what I was saying...

I was talking about the people think there's enjoyment from bashing Jon... there isn't at all. There's frustration. As Kathleen said, he spreads himself too thin.

You're right, it's not a singing competition. Jon Bon Jovi is the lead singer in a global touring band that charges twice my weekly shop for me to go and see him SING. Should I accept that he doesn't pull his thumb out of his arse and sort his vocals out? No. Does he care? He should.

I am honestly glad you enjoyed it but from your statement, what you're actually saying is you can forgive him for being a little bit sh*t because the backing is good and the crowd sing along.

Ok sorry. understood something wrong. I don't think that I forgive him being bad. I just think that he is trying his best(at least almost) and you either have to be fine with the results or not. I am and that's why I am able to enjoy the show. If I would always except an amazing performance I would be disappointed, that's for sure. Yesterday I didn't have much expectations but after the show i was positively surprised. And I liked that.

That's great, and I mean that sincerely. I hope I feel the same after the Isle of Wight Festival.
