This. They're not a bar band anymore, they're supposed to be the best live act around.

And they always have been - every time I've seen them they've kicked my ass. I've always walked away with that post-gig buzz turned up to ten, even on the Bounce tour when Jon's vocals weren't great either, which is why I'm not too worried. That's why I've been a fan for 23 years.

If I walk away with any less than that, then I'll look at it again.

Furthermore, the fans that see these shows are entitled to call them out when they think the band falls far short. Maybe they'll turn it around before the end of the European leg, although I sure wouldn't put money on that. I'm just thanking my lucky stars that I went to Europe for shows on the last tour and that I didn't have the funds to go back this year.
I couldn't agree more Terri. I wanted to go back this year so much and had even planned a Milan / Rome trip where I could see both Bon Jovi and Bruce and still have 10 days to wander around Italy. Clearly life had other plans for me and now we don't have the time off to be able to do that trip.

And I am so glad that we don't. I have local tickets here in Jersey and that will be plenty unless these guys (Jon?) really up their game. Like you I am so glad that we all went on that trip in 2011 and saw the shows that we did. I doubt that there will be the rarities that we saw on this tour.

Yeah, I feel that way too. I think those of us that saw the band on more than one occasion in 2011 got a nice spread of rarities and came away feeling very satisfied with what we got. This current tour just wouldn't live up to it, so what's the point? to come away underwhelmed and out of pocket? no thanks.

Same here ! I'm so thankful I've done multiple shows on The Circle Tour. I got:

Roulette
Shot Trough the Heart
Homebound Train
Something for the Pain
Get ready
Thorn in My Side
Diamond Ring
Always
Happy Now
Love's the Only Rule
Blaze of Glory
Damned
Turn the Page
Dry County
These Days
Radio
Just Older
I Get a Rush
Miss Fourth of July
Hey God
Wild is the Wind
I Believe
Santa Fe
Something to Believe In
Wild in the Streets
I'd die for You
Living in Sin
This Ain't a Love Song
Hard Letting You Go
Any Other Day

That was a great tour ! I really had a blast !
