It's sad to listen to These Days. Jon sounds so weak... even when he's giving his 120%.

It's almost as bad as this one, and even there he articulated words better:
Hope Jon makes something to regain his voice, at least as it was in 2008.

People keep talking about the crack in BTBMB, but I listened to RYH and man, I think about 75% of the song was off key. He was definitely aware of it too judging by his performance...

On a sidenote: Just listening to What The Water Made Me from the promo show in Stuttgart in January. Back then I thought Jon's vocals were average at best, but it sounds miles better than during the last few concerts.

Sadly, I have to agree. Jon's anchored at the mic stand and holding on for dear life for all but about 2 steps that he takes during the Jimmy Shoes line. Take a look at the videos below. Just 2 years ago, this was These Days during the European leg. Jon's moving around during the song. He's interacting with the crowd rather than just singing at them. And the vocals, while not on par with what they were in the '90s and clearly not easy for Jon, are light years better than now. It makes me sad, because that song is a tour de force when done well.

That was pretty accurate. With Who Says the crowd didn't answer at all. Jon was pretty desperate with his "are you with me out there".

And bonjovi90, yes, These Days was pretty much the pinnacle of the night.

Same thing happened in Vienna. Forget getting a good reaction out of a country song while you're claiming to be a rock band.

Dear God, that looks awful... wishing I hadn't watched it.

PLEASE see a vocal coach Jon, PLEASE call Richie and both get over yourselves because with thin crowds, barely moving (unless they're buying hotdogs) you need all the help you can get.

Depressed.
