He's surely forcing a lot of the notes, and it doesn't help at all. He actually doesn't "sing" the notes in the pure sense of the word for the simple reason that he just can't do it atm.

what i've noticed is that his breathing is troubled...that's why his timing is so awol. The guy needs rest. Perhaps he's having real issues with his vocal chords!

I accepted that some time ago. Jon is never going to be able to sing any better at this stage. Just enjoy the bands energy and take what's on offer.

Maybe the hayfever, I don't know - he sounded a lot better in Oslo, which was an indoor show. His nose is really red again.
