I think the lot of you have your ears stuck up your ass. I listened to a recording of the first night and re-listened to Dry County. Jon sounds fine. I'm sorry but at all three nights Jon performed with tons of energy and stood by the mike when it was necessary. Bon Jovi could have put on the show of their life and you guys would still bitch and moan about it.I think you need to start your own board for former fans of Bon Jovi.

Opinions are like assholes everyone has one.

And aside from Ace, there's not a shred of musical ability in the original lineup. Peter's tone deaf (but yeah, Beth rocks eh?), Gene relies on complete theatrics to cover up the fact that he's a root-note God and Paul is just completely lame. Never use this band as a comparison because you throw any possible credibility out the window. And yes, I've seen KISS a lot. Why would I waste my time seeing a band that I know sucks? Because for years, I was in a band and it was my drummer's favorite band. Sooo, we each went to shows to "learn" from our friend's influences. It was a nice idea, but I learned that you can totally suck and still almost pack an arena (KISS don't fill them in, even down south in the US, like Bon Jovi still does).

So you pick a band with no skill, has energy that looks completely ridiculous, and has played virtually the same setlist since their last hit in 1975 (I'm exaggerating, but doing that on purpose) to compare to the Jovi? No. You loose. Let me guess? You love that same setlist? That's one huge problem with you... you're just wanting them to play your favorite songs. You don't like Lost Highway? That's fine... but they do and that's obvious. Too bad you missed them in 08, it was better than the DVD translates to you, I promise. And if you don't see them in 2010, your loss. Bon Jovi won't miss you, I promise.
Excellent written! Let's take this topic to the grave. Everything has been said, everybody pointed out his opinion more than once (some even much more). This one should still be about last night's show...

You're right! I should be about last night's show, but too bad I was in South Carolina and couldn't be there. Still glad I saw them in Atlanta and Charlotte, but one of these days I'd like to make it to a Jersey show. Well, since I'm wishing, I'd like to make it to any show in Europe.

Bon Jovi just put on an amazing show. I'm thrilled for any who got to be there -- I would have loved to been there!

I think others reached this decision before I did, but they say it's not wise to feed the trolls. (Not saying for sure we have one, but you know, just in case.....)

Bj are my favourite band and always have been. But please don't go there in terms of vocal ability.

Paul Stanley seems to have problems on this tour but everytime i had seen them he rates as one of the best live singers on the planet.

JbJ hasn't sounded good since 1996.The thing is because we have seen the band so many times we are used to his voice. But go on and play any live dvd from 96 onwards to a casual or non jovi fan and they'' say gee he sounds shit live.Sorry but it's david Bryan and Samora covering his ass.

Paul Stanley is covering his own and everybody else's in that band.

To say Kiss are shit, Well you have absolutely no idea mate.

Paul Stanley did Phantom Of The Opera.Do you think JBJ could pull that off.Never in his lifetime and he's my favourite singer. You dumbass.

Bruce put more energy in 12 minutes than Bon Jovi puts in a tour. That was the ultimate rock show.

As for KISS, Paul may have lost some of his voice, but he still sings rings around Jon, every night. Plus you never leave a KISS show disappointed. I've seen enough bad Jovi shows to not go there anymore. Just not interested hearing my once favourite band butcher their own songs and become a tired AOR band.

I do not agree with the extreme negative comments on BJ. But I cannot agree on any negativity concerning Kiss either. I bought the last CD and I was amazed

TBH PS was way better in 2010 than he was in 2008. Surely his voice is not everyone's taste but he is an awesome frontman Playing rythm guitar and runing around on stage in his high inch heels like crazy. Kiss still rule and remember they were also responsible for bringing BJ to the masses when BJ supported them in the 80s
Seriously?
