While a lot of people are trying to pretend that isn't the case, that seems to be true.

Bon Jovi are only doing Rio because they wanted to do more gigs in Europe because of the dollar price. If this wouldn't be true, Bon Jovi would refuse playing at a festival like this at all because they think they are way too big for something like that. It was the reason why they skipped Belgium on the HAND tour.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Right, the way i have set up is use this link for the video, http://videos.sapo.pt/WR3vVy7NEhD7eridL81O. Im hoping BJ are shown on here but not 100% sure is it.

I then mute the above video, and play through radio here http://www.rfm.pt/live/newstream_rfm.asx. (as stated before)

This way if there is no video close it, if the video breaks up then the radio seems to be fine (touch wood).

Good luck

As far as the past has gone they have usually broadcasted all the acts that are on tha main stage online.
That does not mean they will be shown on TV just online and on the radio.Tv will usually show highlights and maybe a few songs I gues we will have to wait for a little under an hour to find out for sure.
I do remember when Guns n roses were on a few years ago evryone thought they wouldnt show it live but it was LIVE ONLINE not live on tv

Ya but playing at festivals is very cost effective in that they(bon jovi Corp) dont have the added expense of putting together huge stage shows and crew etc. Just take Foo Fighters as an example ,in Europe they are huge(wembley stadium sold out twice etc)yet they will still do festivals.I can live in hope as you know that if it happens they will have at least one decent warm up band

I have it muted and I'm listening to other music. When Jovi come on I'll put the volume back up.
