We know that Richie is in rehab and Jon knows that but how this was his first time saying it, his not going to say he is in rehab but just that he isn't doing well (I'm hope that I am explaining myself well??) he did add that he is going get better. Like you, I hope that it doesn't mean anything more serious but I just think, how it was the first time Jon said it, it sounds worser.

I agree, i think it's easy to read into "he isn't doing too well" far too much. Like you said, in a situation like this playing to thousands of fans he's unlikely to say "he's in rehab" but he'll put it in a softer such as "not doing too well". If he'd left it at that i'd be more worried but the fact he said "he'll be better soon" is slightly heartening.

Are you always so cynical? if he cried on stage, would you say that they are fake tears?

It was a somber and sad moment when he said that, but I think Jon was just simply stating why he can't be here... he isn't doing well. It's true that he's not well, otherwise he'd be there on that stage! And I think we are so used to Jon just being positive, that hearing a definitive statement like "he isn't doing well" scared us all. But he did follow it up with a positive. I truly believe Richie will be back by the summer. Let's all have faith and try to stay positive!! I believe in strength in group prayer, so let's just keep praying for our guy.

No disrespect intended Mimi, but it was evident to me Jon was in pain. He certainly is not faking that, did you see the "IBTFY" vid? He also gave a big ass sigh after he finished "Wanted" no one can tell me that he's not hurting.

That's why I zoomed in on Jon so close, heads and hands in the way were getting on my nerves. I wanted to get LYHOM and I started to but the security guard kept getting in the way on that one, and I ended up giving up.

I think she wanted to say that some people like to overreact here... he said something what we all know but there might some people who don't follow forums but know that there should be some Sambora. So saying he is not well is just right because he is not, if he was ok he wouldn't be missing. But some people need to make a bug trgaedy out of everything.
