You're probably right, Deb. <sigh>

them playing Blood On Blood 24 times would be the best setlist ever, i'm serious! They need to start and end the show with that song, never get tired of it

I honestly think that Jon made such a lengthy tour to yes, make money, but also to help Richie. I think in the environment Jon has set up, Richie has something to do and is watched over by people who love him. Maybe im a touchy feely guy, but the size of this tour and its immediacy following the last one has always left me thinking there is something altruistic to it.

Further evidence may be that every time there is a break and Richie is away by himself with some down time, he seems to relapse.

I hope he is there for the Europe shows, i hope he gets the help he needs more - i do see where he could clean up - do Europe in that somewhat safe environment, i do realize it is still a rock tour, but its over soon and then maybe go back and really get himself straightened out.

thinking good thoughts -

and to all tonight - have fun!

Wish I could drink myself. I am trying to keep an open mind. I just don't want to hear DC without Richie. Kathleen you will enjoy your weekend, besides its Mother's Day weekend. You deserve a weekend away.

No its not that simple. In my opinion a relapse is not predictable even though I am sure there were warning signs. I believe through my own experience and with friends relapse is part of the recovery process. There are others out there who have had more stints in rehab than Richie has. I hope for him, this is his last.

I'm getting a little tired of BOB as an opener. Would love to hear "Undivided" as an opener tonight.

I just hope they don't do DC (I don't think they will) I don't want to hear it without Richie, I want to remember how perfect it sounded when I taped it at MSG night 3.

I am actually looking forward to going, am curious about Phil (though obviously Richie will be greatly missed) and I'm not so sure we're going to get a "standard bla" setlist.........or maybe that's just wishful thinking on my part, anyway I'll find out soon enough.

I honestly think Undivided would be awful as an opener. It works as an ALBUM opener, but it's too short and just doesn't fit right. Much like IML. I'm tired of BoB as an opener myself. I wish they would use something different. How 'bout I Believe? Or perhaps Bad Medicine?
