They got the "US super mega rare show" treatment, which is by all means fine, just not special.
Yeah, but the difference is that the U.S. super mega rare show isn't exactly super mega rare in the U.S.. A country that gets its first show in 18 years and gets Dry County in the encore I'd say they've got no reason to complain. A song like Get Ready would've made the set more special to us, but not to them.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Most definitely agree!! I thought Wonderdog did a great job of capturing the different type of concert goers in her review.

totally agree.

Some people just love complaining.

If they turned round and said - we havent been here for 18 years so heres................7800 in its entirety then 99.9% of the crowd would have never heard these songs. Nor want to. If they did that in Hyde Park in July Id jizz in my pants.

They are not going to go to some country they havent been two for almost two decades and sing rare songs.

No it's not. When I went to the Argentina gig I've never seen the band, and it was their first concert here after 15 years of absence... I would have gone out mad as hell if they doesn't play anything of These Days, and we got a hell of a concert, 3 hours straight.

Fans do care for the rare songs, casuals don't, that's the reality.

If they come here and give us a "USA special night gig" I'm gonna be pissed off, specially when they don't come here too often.

Hoping the South Africans some rarities next saturday, two gigs in their country, they deserve it.

Also is it just me or the backing vox really stand out on this version, especially all the background ''Oooooohs''. Is that Bobby?

JBJ - I believe

"Sambora's face is a mask of joyous disbelief, as if previously unaware of his ability to play the instrument at all. Reaching the last fistful of notes, he does a fair impression of a man who is actually ejaculating into his jet black flares."
