Why is it so hard for some people to accept that the band had a really good night, played a really good show, Jon was in good voice, and the crowd that went to see it had a great time??

As for the setlist, it's a show I would have been happy to see. No there were no super rarities, but I've come to believe that among the diehards unless Richie pulls "father Time " out of his ass and Jon puts "if I was your mother" in the setlist, some are just not going to be happy, or admit that a setlist actually played was a good show.

As for BTR and the fantasy world he lives in, all I'll say is the human memory for the past is amazingly selective.

For this show, the opening act was Ooh La La. I know there holding contests for the opening acts and I think it's different for each city.

Triple M, the radio station that was promoting the tour had a competition in different states, and the public voted.

The winner of Melbourne was actually Front Counter, not to sure who Ooh La La are.

You know,I heard no complaints about anything the whole time after I left the show and all the way to Flinders St. People were HAPPY! They sounded great! The only thing that people wanted that they didn't get was Always.

Were you there? I was with 30,000 thrilled fans (first timers and serial BJ concert goers) Pretty harsh to claim BJ are a shadow of their former self don't you think? Jon put 120% into that show and the atmosphere proved it and no doubt contributed to it. At 29 it was my 10th BJ show over 18 years incuding in and out of Australia...and it was one of the best. For a band that has been playing stadiums for about 20 years ofcourse it's not going to be the same show as 89. It was also so good to see such a young to old diverse crowd...who says BJ aren't cool!

Pay no attention to that dude - he has joined a Bon Jovi fan board with a Springsteen username - and he spends all his time trying to tell us how horrible Bon Jovi has become. He's a troll - nobody with anything better to do would spend so much time and so many posts on a fan board spewing the hatred that he does.

If he had done this on any other board he would have been banned long ago. As it is - since the board owner doesn't believe in banning anyone - the mods here are always deleting his inappropriate posts.
