Hey Yvonne I was just reading your post above, and for about a 3rd time I am struck by your signature pic. The shortest of the 4 guys is standing in front of the white part of that poster, and it almost looks like antlers! LOL

Just a silly sidenote I notice things like that in pictures sometimes. We had some photos recently of my father and his sisters together. Two of them are standing in front of ferns and it looks like some kind of green wings sprouting out of their backs.

(Sorry for the interruption of the topic). Now, back to your regularly scheduled Melbourne Thread.

Yeah, i'm going. The seats are at the front at this venue, and i've got 7th row centre. couldnt be much happier!! The place only holds about 2000 people seated, the rest are general admin on the grass.

here are some pics of what the venue looks like

Man I envy you...I'd say this is going to be a great show...esp. with the seats you have. Heaps of my BJ mates are going tonight - would loved to have been with them, esp. as nearly all of them are members of BJDU as well.

6 more days, and I'll be at Subiaco, so gotta be happy about that

Wow, cool looking venue. So, it's an amphitheater. I'm sure it will be rocking tonight!

yep...man and nature sort of working well in harmony there...and if you look at the seating, you are very close to the stage. Every December, Melbourne holds it's 'Carols by Candlelight' there.

There is only one pain with it...get in the wrong spot on the lawn and you could end up being the person who tried to imitate the jaffa rolling down the aisle in the cinema.
