For those who were there how did Always sound? I saw it was TLFR style.. did it go over well with the crowd?

The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

Lizz,
Always is my favorite song so I can't be objective. I thought Jon delivered the vocals great. The crowd around me was singing loudly, sometimes overpowering Jon so I don't think they cared it was the TLFR version. Also, Jon did a ad lib at the end but I couldn't hear what he was saying.

It was pretty horrible, I do like the song but the TLFR arrangement simply sucks. The crowd at the GA places where completely dead.

I sat down the second night during Always and the horrible Who Says You Can't Go Home.

I wouldn't necessarily judge a crowd's appreciation by how much noise it makes. Bells of Freedom was the only song all night I didn't song along to, yet I really enjoyed it: listening, taking in the atmosphere, taking a more observation role if you will. May have been the same with Always, especially if a lot of the crowd doesn't know the melody for the TLFR version. I really enjoyed it. I would rather Jon sings that version than screw up the really high pitched one.

It was awesome. 1st time I've heard Always live since '96 and the crowd loved it. I'd much rather have had that version than none atall.

My god that was amazing that was better than 2001, i got near the back of the fan club pit area so me and my girlfriend had a nice view, i won't go into too much because i already wrote a review in the tour area but as i said it was a great show they truely rocked i was delighted to hear rocking in the free world and always even if it was the This left feels right version. But yeah it was fantastic can't wait till they come back again.
