Any videos from the MK1? I have only few short clips because of my small memory card so it would be nice to see others videos. Pics are also welcome.

MK Weekend review

So we got to the bowl just after 9am on Sat, after a long hike we got our numbers which were in the 200's which I was pretty pleased about. Apparently there were nearly 700 fc members there. Was cool to listen to the England match before we went in, I listened to the end of it with a nice Gerodie bloke on the hill

I can usually predict a good show by watching the band, esp Jon come out at the beginning. Well you could tell they were well up for it on this night. They came out to an England ong which made a nice change. First real surprise of the night was boys are back in town, I was made up at this as its always been one of my fave covers. It was weird I made a BJ mixed CD at Kevs before we set off and I put this song on it!! Im re-discovering sleep when im dead, I like the way they swap the little medleys, we got I feel good and Jumping jack flash if im not mistaken. The whole set was played out well with Jon showing lots of energy throughout. Richie was in a good mood too the on stage chemisty was def there.

Then onto the encore. Jon came out in an England shirt which pleased me no end Then came thee highlight of the weekend for me. Living in Sin. Just WOW. This song has always been a personal fave of mine for loads of reasons so to hear it live was something else. Although we heard DC for the first time at Dusseldorf and it is more of a rareity, I enjoyed this more.

The encore finished with Blood on Blood Wanted and Faith. Blinding. I suppose looking back that encore seems a bit short but I didnt even think about that when it was ove I was just on a high looking forward to night 2..............
.
....which basically carried on from where they left on the Saturday. It was great to see them open with something different to LMS - and even better when its Rockin in the free world!! Get in!!! I have to agree with Thierry that I am a little bored with Cap Crash now, its become the new "Sleep" on this tour, it goes on for twoo long and could easily be rotated without me missing it. Then just before the encore Jon started a speach about the fans loyalty and he had a bunch of requests, then he said he was gonna play a song he wrote for Crossroads so we knew it was always. We all stood together hoping it would be the original but alas it wasnt to be. I wouldnt say I enjoyed it but it was nice to hear again even if it was that version. To hear him sing those verses was amazing but the Chrous just sounded so lame it never really got going. Oh well onto the Encore.

These Days, wanted, blood on blood and the best version of Faith iv heard on this tour. Im not gonna complain about blood on blood, I could hear that every night but I was really disappointed for the people who didnt get to hear DC on this tour. We all felt sure they would play it here. I loved these days though. I suppose the setlist for the sunday looks alook more impressive than the saturday but I just enjoyed night 1 more for some reason.

Overall it was a great weekend of music. Really great to meet everyone again too. Thanks to Paul who camped out with us even though he didnt get a FC number. The heat and lack of sleep wasnt great but the people I was with just seemed to lift everyone, we all got on so well like we'd been friends for years.

Roll on Wembley!!
