who says- like this one or not, it's a great song live, period.

No phoning it in or by the numbers show going on here. Jon seemed like the KTF Jon, leaving his heart on the stage. He really loves playing the new record and thus far is very very into performing. His voice is very, good very solid, he's taking care of it so far anyway.

richie is really on fire. he's amped himself up, strapped himself in and is really letting it fly. Physically, he's in the same place on the stage, but there is a vibe now that he and Jon are standing side by side all night, they are really together, equal partners in this ride they are on.
Truthfully, this is one of the best shows I've seen in a few years. I'm 100 shows in and this one ranks up with the magic night at Giants.
Sounds awesome! Thanks for the review.

I can only agree with Phil!

Whohooooh, finally no Sleep (hope they'll keep that up or they should play a medley versions which Dancing in the streets and Rockin' all over the world) and a setlist of 25 songs!

Only one thing: I really hope they won't keep on playing CC (even if it is a great sing-a-long song - we have WSYCGH for that now ), because I'd rather here a "better" song, a song that really lets us see who Bon Jovi is and they've written; songs like These Days, Living In Sin, Wild Is The Wind, Blood On Blood (a version like Moscow 1989), In These Arms, Dry County, I'd Die For You or maybe even One Wild Night (which the crowd loved and which was a great opening song back in 2000 and 2001).

To be really honest, I hope they'll play Dirty Little Secret. I know "fat change", because it's a bonus track, but geezzz, this song rocks!

I hope that they will play Dirty Little Secret too, but Jon said, that he hates that song (but I hope, that wasn't true, and it was a gossip

You mentioned that version of Blood on blood, and I watched that, and it was awesome

Yes, I heard that too, but why then after writing record it? That doesn't make sense, does it? But he did the same thing with Neurotica: a song that imho rocked your ass off as well, but he didn't want to performe it live despite the fact that fans all over the world asked it (Arnheim 2000, China Club 2000 etc). He said either "fat chance" or "it's just a bonus track in Japan" .

And yes, that Blood On Blood version is awesome! The best one I've seen or heard, but I don't think they will ever play it like that again. Too bad though.
