just older is a class song.
And it's pretty obvious they're promoting HAND, since there are at least 6 songs performed from the record nightly.

I don't think I am will make a debut sadly, if they had intended to play it, they would have already.

I think they will performe I Am and Welcome... Welcome will be there for sure, maybe they are keeping it for Europe, but they will do it. And I Am, if they tried it on reharsals, maybe Jon couldnt pull it so they will wait for some bigger gap in tour to practice it...

To some it is. I like it, but I've heard it for the past 2 tours. It's not one of their best songs.

There may be 6 songs from HAND, but they'ev been playing 4 songs from Crush as well, 2 of which could EASILY be dropped. Granted, they could also ditch I'll Sleep... or Raise Your Hands as well. Point is, it's not like they'd be doing away with a hit single that they are expected to play.

I've totally given up on the idea of "I Am" - if Jon can't handle singing IBTFY and Bed or Roses in their original keys and versions...he certainly can't do this one. It's just too high.

As much as I enjoy the new album, I even wonder if they're over-promoting the album. There are more casual fans in that audience than we realize- the ones who don't really rush out and buy the albums- and they completely tune out during the album cuts. They do go pretty crazy over HAND though- which surprises me. Does it get that much airplay?

Ya, I just can't see all the casual fans going crazy over Complicated and One Last Cigarette. And your right about the amount of casual fans at the concerts, they make up the majority of the audience. Thus the reason songs like Sleep and Bad Medicine remain in the setlists.

I don't know why some of you make a huge fuss over I Am. I think its a pretty boring song.
