Listen to any These Days-Tour Era Bootlegs - that's how the song should sound like. Sounds even worse than during the US tour. What a shame!
and i heard you say, like a million times, that you can't judge on bootlegs (plus you didn't had any)

Have those I was there personally. As we don't have a time machine the only way to compare BJ live THEN and now is listen to vintage BJ from bootleg (as they are not able to release a proper live CD/DVD - sad again!)
And the TD version 2008 is absolute horrible. I would even say that if I loved LH believe me!

Don't the Japanese shows all start early, like early afternoon? I thought I read somewhere that is the case, rather than the traditional evening concerts we are used to.

The set list looks like a pretty normal first show, I believe they are doing a big tv broadcast show in Tokyo, my guess would be the surprises would be for that show.

They've always played the Domes in Japan. The venues are no different, but there seems to be less of them.

Surely the warm up shows were in NJ. And do they not have hotels in Nagoya?!

On the Crush Tour an average set contained 20 songs. On the One Wild Night Tour it contained 20 songs. Your examples of those Japanese shows all show a set with the same average length of what was played on that tour.

On the Lost Highway Tour a show contains at least 23 songs, yet this set "only" has 21 songs. 23 songs means 2 hours and 10 minutes, so this show barely lasted 2 hours.

The first show in Japan is always shit, but this time they really hit rock bottom.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan
