And this is the main crux of the argument. Dave (Paragon) has posted about the same thing. You CAN get overexposed by going to too many shows and then you will start to complain about the setlists - the length of the shows, Jon's voice etc......

I would expect you and Terri to have enjoyed this show (unless it was poor by your standards). And had I gone I would have expected pretty much exactly what was played and enjoyed it. Though I wouldn't have expected the gorgeous weather you guys got.

I think people's expectations increase the more they go to shows. And that's not always a fair assessment.

I never said the show was BETTER from the balcony. I said we made the decision to watch it from the balcony and I didn't go into a lot of details. I'm sure the show was "better" from the front where Terri was, but I didn't want to deal everything it would take to be down front. I also said I WOULDN'T judge the crowd because I *wasn't in it.* I just don't see how you can say people weren't into the show when you weren't there. I just don't get how you can pass judgment on a crowd that you weren't part of. That's not a lecture, it's just an observation.

When it comes to Jon's voice and the energy of the show, I have very high expectations. I find that the band usually meets my expectations. I don't go in expecting Dry County though so if it ever gets thrown in, they'll exceed my expectations. LOL And, actually, I've seen that a few times so I'd rather hear a different rare song if the truth be known.

I also think there are alot of "ways" for a person to be into a show. For some it's the dancing, singing, waving of arms, jumping up and down, and for others it's really listening and watching. I've done both, depending, quite frankly, on my mood of a given night. It by no means means I'm less into a show, it's just that sometimes it pleases me more to just stand there quietly and listen to Jon sing and the band play.

I dontt think everybody was that bad on the beach but still I respect YOUR OPINION on how bad the ppl behaved with you so let me be able to talk as wellif I cannot judge on a crappy ustream I dont judge on tee shirts neither ... I was online with a crappy sound yes but I got the feeling as well as you ..it was a good free show no need to apologize
I just think the bad medicine video doesn't show a crazy crowd that much .. sorry for the offense ....

I said I will repeat that I think the long same ole same ole bad medicine with medley with banters is getting old now especially the always the same banters and so called interaction with the crowd I don't hear that much a crazy crowd but the lady during the ustream was indeed LOUD but not for the best

I was in the crowd, what do you want to know? I was not in the front like Terri. I was not in the back like Becky. I was in the middle across from the sound booth. There was a lady to my right who has been to 15 Bon Jovi shows. There was a group of 10-15 women behind me who screamed every time Jon shook his hips. The crowd sang so loud at times that I could not hear the music/singing. What more do you want to know?

I was at the show right in the middle of the crowd. I got pretty much what I expected and had a blast watching a concert on the beach. There were some teenage girls that wiggled there way up near us and my husband told them go on ahead and get in front of us. They were having the time of their lives and knew every word to every song. It was fun just watching them. I didn't see any fights break out and didn't have obnoxious drunks around me. I was a happy fan. I thought they put on a great show and I didn't hear anyone around me complaining. Vanilla set or not, I'd do it again.

According to the setlist picture posted on bonjovi.com, blaze of glory was supposed to be played .. I wonder why they dropped it ...

They probably didn't have time.
