I think its because Jon is talking about his son and this has been an amazing year for Phil.

Has it been mentioned how much ass Phil kicked on Keep The Faith?

I miss Richie too, but damn, Phil almost makes this band rock again. Get rid of Bobby, get Hugh off that stupid platform, and you've got a real band again.
