It's not the ****ing opera you're going to, it's supposed to be a rock show. But you don't seem to get that going to a concert isn't about beverages, VIP parking, your own toilet with toilet paper signed by Jon. The package should be about the music and as for getting your money's worth: Last time I went dining and had a 3 course menu it didn't cost me 150E either unless Mr. Gordon Ramsey was cooking for you there? I've seen that DC now, and it's a completely different world compared to last tours where the die hards were really at the front.

As for people on here not being "real fans" and all of that, most of the people on here that are regular posters have done more shows on 1 tour than you have done in your entire life. They're also not saying the following:

This throws your opinion on things right out of the window. If they're trying to please everyone why does 1 show get 3 great rare songs and the next one gets stuff no one is waiting for really? Explain that, mr. "true fan".

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan
Are you completely stupid or do you just not read my previous posts properly. VIP Package means that you get the VIP PACKAGE treatment as well as getting a good show. No-one is forcing you to get the VIP Package - you could've just paid the £120 through backstagejbj and bypassed all the nosh and still been in the DC if you would have wanted. Or if you weren't backstagejbj you couldve still paid the £250 and bypassed all the hospitality. You pay the money to get at the front and not to queue for hours. Just so happens that food and drink is at your disposal. And judging by what I saw the DC were having the best time in the rain filled with booze and good food. It was a party in the DC for sure.

And I aint getting into a discussion about how many concerts i've been to etc...i aint here to brag and I'm not getting into "ive been to more shows than you". Quite honestly that just shows immaturity. I also think you're making yourself seem a bit bitter and jealous.

It aint a co-incidence that everyone at Manchester had a cracking time and all these haters didn't go. Try and find me one person who had a shit time and i'll give you the money myself.

Let the people who enjoyed the show enjoy it. Goes to all you whiners . Sheesh.

Amen to that ...

every post is the same people saying its a Vanilla show and no atmosphere even though they are sat at home.. and that Jons all about the money blah blah blah ...

enjoy the music and why do these posts have the enjoyment sucked right out of everything...

Yeah it is a compliment. Why cant people just enjoy BJ and stop all this over-analyzing? If no-one likes what they do anymore then I suggest they go and do one. I've only ever heard of one concert where a few people were't happy and that was Hull in 2006. But it was a "few" compared to 30,000 and i think the band had just had some bad news with Richie's dad etc...

yeah i was at Hull and it wasnt the best show id been too.. but again i made it what i wanted to and i still rocked.. the band where so down and you could sense that .. they where just so tired and fed up after a long time on the road..

just wish people could enjoy a show without thinking every song they sing is rubbish etc etc etc and then hang on to the little fact anouther fan Spelt his name Wrong .... or that they go to the most shows and can afford the best seats at every show

Was there last night and I absolutely loved it! Atmosphere was great, everyone was soaked but didn't care! Was in GC and as soon as band came on you could tell Jon was in great mood-loved it,his interactions with the crowd and rest of band was great and loved the Glasto rant! Loved the set-may not have been many 'rareties' but love all their music so makes no odds to me! Have seen them bout every 2 or 3 years since '88, 9 times now, never not enjoyed it! Think Manchester in 03 Jon was in a pissy mood that night but still enjoyed the music and energy of show.Manchester '08 was great because took my kids for first time-both about the same age I was first time I saw them-they loved it.got what you would call a great set that night but when we came out last night daughter said was just as good as 08 and I agree!some may say set list was mediocre but it was a fantastic night!

Little helpful tip

Thanks. Well in all honesty gettin this ticket drained the hell out of me money wise and will leave me skint for a good while. I can't afford travellin to multiple gigs and thought I'd rather try and get the best possible out of the one gig i'll go to.
Of course I'd prefer the more raw rock gig feeling, standin in line for a while and less barriers, but when it being the way it is ill do the best I can.

I just can't believe that you're flying to Dublin to only attend the one show when there are two of them back to back?!

She's just said she's skint, lad! Not everyone can afford multiple gigs. I blew all my cash on DC VIP - would rather once in a lifetime experience than loads just in GA. Have never been in the pit before
