The Guide to a better Bon Jovi concert (based on the tour thus far):
1. Open the show with something other than Last Man Standing. So many different songs would be appropriate here....LYHOM, HAND, I Believe, etc, etc.
2. Only several songs off the new album are worth hearing live. HAND, I Wanna Be Loved, I Am, Novacaine, and Story of My Life. The rest are of lesser quality. This I realize will be contentious with others here.
3. Give something back to the die-hard or long-time fans. Something like These Days, TAALS, I'd Die For You, Let It Rock, etc. Songs like these won't lose the attention of new fans, as they are very catchy. Just play 1 per show.
4. Please for the love of god get rid of the TLFR/acoustic portion of the show. This is a rock band or at least its supposed to be. This totally kills the upbeat tempo of the arena and they ironically put it right smack in the middle of the show. If it was at the end I guarantee people would leave during it.
5. Add some sponteneity (might be mispelled) to the show. I think they have done this to a certain extext thus far. But change up the setlist a little more dramatically, more than just 1-2 songs per show.
6. Add an original intro to one of their classics, either to start the show or somewhere in the middle. I always enjoyed the LYHOM intro but any song would do.
