Exactly, the number of people that are happy with this set but weren't with the others are satisfied to easy. The song you mentioned are regulars, except living in sin there was nothing special (Richie singing TD everynight is not special anymore). LIS doesn't make a setlist with regulars and wrong albumtracks

Times are changing as I abso****inlutely agree with you. Seems like those yelling "Yeah awesome setlist" are those who bought tickets for the upcoming European lag for a shitload of money and still lying to themselves and pretending that BJ are the messias of Rock music in 2008. Wake up !

IMHO the worst Japanese tour in BJ history. And the European tour will be the same believe me.....

Yeah I really see your point.
I think it's somewhat natural that people just lower their expectations though. I kind of do it myself.
If you're hoping for some real rarities, you're just going to get disappointed. Nowadays it's more like the band chooses between Summertime and Bloon On Blood, and then it's a lot "easier" to appreciate Blood On Blood. Even though - as you're saying - it has been a regular for several world tours.

It's like a defense mechanism. Don't get your hopes up because the set list will just let you down.
It's a really sad fact though, I'm with you on that one.

As I say - those who praise them still lie to themselves!

You're right, it is really frustrating, but now KTF's not even really a regular anymore, and neither are the others.

I think most of us have just kinda given up hope that Jon's gonna have sung It's My Life or something and think "hmmm, I feel like It's Hard Letting You Go, tonight.".

KTF is what Jon considers a treat for the fans. I know it sucks, but the rarest song we've got this tour is Diamond Ring, and they seem to have ditched that also.

One of those middle of the road sets.
Not a horrible setlst, but not great either, made or broken by the band's performance.

That would've been a better set for the broadcast though, whether anyone thinks it's awesome or not.

Question about "Glad All Over" Dave Clark 5 cover....didn't Bon Jovi play this at a show pretty recently, like in the last year? Anyone remember?

Yes, it was at one of the Vancouver shows. IIRC it was the second night.
