Woo hoo first post here......unfortunately probably not make any friends here with my opinions on this gig.
I always liked the edge that Jovi had to their live shows and throughout the years have defended them when people said they were a wimpy rock band.Unfortunately it would seem that the band have eventually given up on their rock roots judging by this alck lustre performance in Jersey.I was in NYC to see a concert and thought i was so lucky getting to see Jovi at the same time,how wrong i was.
A woman fiddler,a steel guitar where did it all go wrong??When the band were on stage on their own(not very often) it was passable as a rock concert however there just wasnt the normal feel for me that you normally get at a Jovi gig.
The band have just announced a UK tour and im sorry to say this will be the first time since they first toured here that i wont be clamouring for tickets.....The band have given me some great memories but i wont pay good money to see a watered down Bon Jovi.....
