I fell in love with it, the extra solos, the voice, the songs! Its just amazing. Church of Desire is amazing on that show, Sleep Alone, Father Time, Rosie, one light Burning. They are all brilliant. I missed out on the 1998 show as sold out before i even knew about it being announced, the internet was still very young then so harder to get news than it was now. I had a mate who had to queue up at the ticket desk to get his ticket, as couldnt book online (I only found out he went a few months after the show!). Ever since the Lowdown album was announced i wanted to go to a tour if there was going to be one, i always assumed it would be a small venue and assumed it would sell out in seconds but i fortunately managed to get a ticket. I would have loved to have gone to Amsterdam but now have a family and 2 kids and couldnt afford it, but atleast im going to see him tomorrow. I was a little disheartned with the Setlist of Amsterdam night 1, as i was expecting a 1991 type show! I thought there was going to be around 4-5 SITT songs along with 4-5 US songs but that was my problem, I still cannot quite understand why Richie does not do more from the SITT and US albums, but as we have seen in Munich and Berlin the shows seem to have got better. I just cannot wait to see what is played tomorrow, and to actually be there and see my hero up close and personal. Its going to be effing fantastic! I have a twitter account (@daftkast) so will try and post setlist and photos. but im sure there will be loads of updates. If we get a better setlist than Berlin i will be one extremely happy man. for everybody that is going tomorrow, hope you enjoy the show as much as me! I May even see you there. Exited as hell, seen once already but I am so pumped for this one. And being able to use wifi on virgin trains while travelling.... How cool. Been up since 5:30 no work and the train didn't leave until 11:00 and the station is only a 10 min trip from home, The anticipation is killing me.
