Okay, I was wrong. The Fighter's kind of boring.

Yeah, it's going to have to grow on me. Not going to be one of my favorites off What About Now.

It's identical to the way Jon played that before, but with keys at the end.

I liked The Fighter and Jon sounds better than I expected him to this early in a tour. I don't know if this will go over really well in a big venue, but I enjoyed it a lot.

If you were to tell me that there's a song on the new record which is just Jon and Richie with two acoustic guitars, I would have said that I'm all in. It's just not quite doing it for me. I don't hate it, but it's just ok (so far). I liked Amen better.

I'll admit, I went straight to being negative about this set without mentionning what many have already.

It was awesome of the to play for so long as it was a free show. I was expecting an hour long set or something like that. Seems like it's been a win-win for every one involved.

personnally, the only reason I wouldnt mind the set is that I havent seen them on the circle tour (only at one-off shows last summer) and hearing all the new songs would be aswesome.

my main problem is that it wouldnt seem to work as a Bon Jovi show, in the sense that people who go want the hits, or at least energy from the band to get the crowd going, and such a low key set, it doesnt seem like they'd win anyone who hasnt seen them before over.

I've seen bad name as the opener once in montreal at the start of the lost highway tour, and it was alright i guess.

I was thinking about this earlier and I was wondering....did they ever open with bad medecine? that could work and it would get the crowd going right away.

I guess we'll have to see how this plays out for the rest of the tour.
