The strange thing is, I went to both shows in Seattle where they played Roulette, Get ready and Shot thru the heart, and the reaction of the crowd wasn't so bad like a lot of people here say it was ...

FTR, there is a blizzard forecast in Connecticut for Friday into Saturday, with snow accumulations of 2 feet. Since the band or promoters don't give a shit about the safety of their fans, I'm sure we won't see a rescheduling.

BOSTON —A winter storm and blizzard that the National Weather Service is calling "potentially historic" is expected to drop 1 to 2 feet of snow across much of the region Friday into Saturday.

The National Weather Service issued a blizzard watch for much of eastern Massachusetts from Friday morning through Saturday afternoon.

The storm will bring the potential for a foot or more of snow across much of the region and travel may become nearly impossible, forecasters warned.

Oh boy, people writing the first show off even before its started. Set list this, set list that. Yada yada.

WHy cant we just hope for a show where the band is passionate, the banter between Jon and Richie is apparent, and the band kick everyones' ass!

I'm hoping the band and promoters take the high road and postpone the show. Yeah, it's a pain in the ass, but to risk people's lives isn't worth it.

No way Dan, it won't get postponed. And the forecast, for CT, is a bit of a wildcard I'm watching the weather now and they say it may be 6-12 inches for that area and be done by Saturday afternoon.

I'm coming from Central Mass. where they're calling for 20 inches. I might try and sell my ticket, or just play it by ear.

There were about the same weather forecasts when the band played the Albany show in '93 and that one also didn't get postponed, so I'm sure they'll go for it now too.

I was so afraid of this, before I was able to purchase tix for Mohegan I found out it's the same night as my niece's sweet 16. Dan, maybe the forecast will change by then. Otherwise they should definitely reschedule.

They didn't postpone a single show when Richie went to freakin' rehab. That sucks if you have far to travel, but I don't see Jon rescheduling.
