I hope he gets well soon.

They can't get another drummer. No Richie, No Tico (for now) only Jon and David? Iconic that the tour they call Because We Can, has turned into the Because We Can't tour.

It all started when they had to cancel the very tour show for the snowstorm.

From Wikipedia;

A study from 2010 found that the average hospital stay for patients with appendicitis in the United States was 1.8 days. For patients with a perforated (ruptured) appendix, the average length of stay was 5.2 days.[6]
Recovery time from the operation varies from person to person. Some will take up to three weeks before being completely active; for others it can be a matter of days.
I'm thinking it could be even worse. IF there was infection and since this was an emergency procedure, possibly well was - 4 to 6 week recovery depending upon age. Now, Tico I suspect is in better shape than most his age but playing drums is more physical than a lot of people realize. (My son plays) A month off the road for him would not surprise me at all. Hopes for a speedy recovery to complete health for him. Don't want him to push it and be down longer. Most important right now is for him to be ok. Really sorry for all the fans who traveled and were looking forward to seeing the guys.

I'm about to cry. I've been practically living in Mexico city for the last five days. My hotel and flight tickets expenses just went to the crapper.

I hope Tico gets well soon. What a bummer!!!

This sucks so much. This tour really has been a disaster, but things like this happen. I know in my own life recently, that even worse things can crop up with people's helath and you can never plan for it.

Maybe Nickelback's drummer Daniel Adair can help out, seeing as they will be on tour with them from Friday, he'd be a quick learner. Although Jon's stink eyes may not be as easy to handle.

I hope nothing but great health for Tico. I almost hate to say this but I bet I'm not the only one thinking it - maybe this scare will be like a head slap for his band mates who can't seem to get along right now. Never would wish illness on any of them - but it makes a point. Heal well hitman!

One thing is for sure.... this is bigger news than the setlist would have been.

Aww, poor Tico. I hope he will recover quickly. Playing drums is very physical. He can't just get back on stage in 3 days.

If Tico recovers ok and then Richie came back can you imagine what the setlist would be like the first show they were all playing together again?! If I was Jon and pull hits out of my ass all night until sunrise to show they still have it and to make it up to the fans.
