I think that's a mix of the two: when Bon Jovi came here, there were some people that didn't knew he was coming a few weeks after it was announced, and the ads were everywhere!

With a 3 day notice there're high chances that a lot of casual fans won't know that they play. Or if they know, you don't give them enough time to get the money or to arrange flights, hotel, etc. Arenas aren't filled with diehards, they're filled with casuals.

Also, the fact that the tickets have the prices of a regular show, doesn't help. If I was the promoter, I would had cut the prices to sell a higher amount of tickets, at least on every but the VIP seats.

"Diehards" and "casuals" -- also known as "the fans who love you" and "the fans who like you." And I, too, would have dropped the ticket prices through the floor since I'd have to rely on filling the place with LOCAL "casuals" on such short notice. They ought to hire us, LOL!
