Well, they're back on the road again. First show of this leg of The Circle Tour, or which might as well be renamed the Everything-But-The Circle Tour. Predictions, previews, reviews, and rants all go here. The last time the band played here was on April 25, 2001 on the OWN Tour. The setlist seemed pretty standard, except for the inclusion of Wild Is The Wind.

I am making a bold prediction.
What Do You Got.

It sounded nice in a small environment, but I think it might fall flat on its face on a stadium crowd.

1. Blood On Blood
2. We Weren't Born To Follow
3. You Give Love A Bad Name
4. Whole Lot of Leavin'
5. Born To Be My Baby
6. Lost Highway
7. When We Were Beautiful
8. Captain Crash & The Beauty Queen From Mars
9. We Got It Going On
10. Bad Medicine W/Pretty Woman
11. It's My Life
12. Lay Your Hands On Me (Richie Vox)
13. I'll Be There For You
14. What Do You Got?
15. I'll Sleep When I'm Dead
16. Work For The Working Man
17. Who Says You Can't Go Home
18. Keep the Faith

Encore:
19. Wanted Dead Or Alive
20. Livin' On A Prayer
21. Always

Hopefully there'll be a good batch of Circle songs.

How ambitious and daring of you. You're pulling crazy songs out of your butt for them to play. You might as well just say that they'll play You Give Love a Bad Name, too.

If they play that song, you will go down as a living legend, my friend.

Having been off for over a month they won't play anything remotely ambitious. They'll potentially pull out TIOH and WDYG and pretend it's "special" and tell the crowd they should care...

Hopefully they'll mix it up. They need better openers and encores than the last leg which became way too predictable.

I reckon the only Circle songs to survive will be WWBTF and LTOR. That for me isn't a bad thing, I don't think the album works too well in an arena setting.

I dunno why but something tells me Richie is gonna sing another song....
maybe he'll go back to HT...while Jon does LYHOM...
or it's a "new" song for him...
but I dont think (or it's just what I want) that Richie will sing LYHOM in this leg of the tour again

Stupid question: Are those shows still announced as "The Circle" tour shows are were these already promoted as "Greatest Hits" tour shows? Didn't follow the news much lately.
Though, I really have the feeling, that South America might see the return of Thorn In My Side and Brokenpromiseland to the setlists. Then maybe also Love's The Only Rule and WWBTF in the acoustic set. We don't need really more from TC. The other songs don't work live. Maybe throwing in Bullet every now and then. But, please, no WFTWM or Superman again I know it will happen though...
