I just cannot believe it.

Tico won't recover until three weeks from now. So, they're playing with other drummer.

"Jon Bon Jovi & Friends, with 'special guest' David Bryan, Bon Jovi co-founder".

This is nuts. Simply cancel the whole leg, go home, "rebuild" the band. This is the perfect moment to do so.

Cheers.

Do you really think they'll be playing with another drummer? I know it's weird he'll recover so fast, but I don't think they'd reschedule the dates for it as they could have called any drummer.

Seems like the tour will re-start in September, 21 in Brazil and the won't do Rock in Rio. Shocking.
Nah I dont think they'll cancel the show in RiR...if they can be there for SP in 21...RiR is still in the plans...it's too important to cancel.

Tico's nearly 60. And he's an athlete.

I really cannot understand what kind of doctor or medical advisor had told him that he can go back to play drums in two weeks time.

Probably an office worker can return in two weeks.

Even, a guitar player. A singer. A keyboardist can do it.

A drummer?! Really?!

I insist, I had the same surgery two years ago, I'm 29, and I cannot even drive for two weeks. The movement with my legs gave me pain a few minutes later sit.

Unless we had a Unplugged tour (like Bryan Adams' Barebones) or even a TLFR, of course.

Weird, it's working for me. It's in bonjovi.com now! Rio wasn't cancelled.

Could a mod rename this thread's name to "Official September, 24, 2013, Estadio Monumental David Arellano, Santiago thread"?

Maybe it's region locked, only to argentinian fans, as the privacy says "custom".
