I believe Jon once said he always leaves a backstage pass for Jesus and Elvis "just in case." I'm not joking/making that up. I know he said Elvis and I think he said Jesus too.

I remember that, too: Something about how he'd made jokes while touring Graceland -- and that night at the gig, a chain came loose and fell that could have killed him!

It was in Memphis on the NJ tour. They had visited Graceland that day. The guys from Skid Row were with him. Sebastian was trying to take photographs which is against the rules and Jon yelled at him to have more respect. Sebastian also told the story and said he never would have imagined in his wildest dreams he would be standing in Elvis Presley's living room being yelled at by Jon Bon Jovi.

I don't remember the details, but the chain fell during the show and it barely missed him and if it had hit him, it would have killed him and Jon blamed Elvis.

Don't know if this has been posted anywhere yet - didn't see a thread for the 29th but that has now been cancelled also.
I could see them trying to work it into a different night. Know the fans are disappointed - I would be.
Richie was at a church school festival near his house this weekend - maybe his prayer was answered by a typhoon. JK

Ten hours ago -- about the time the typhoon made landfall. I can understand the La Maldición Del Ricardo not being afraid to play dirty, but the Dalai Lama has always struck me as more of a mellow sort!
