Yeah, but Jon could just as easily could have moved over himself. If he'd wanted to be in middle when they were photographed, he should have walked out second, not first. Besides, after thirty years, you'd think they'd have all that figured out by now!

And you're partially right: My father played in a big band in the Fifties, and he'd talk about how you would be fined if your tie was crooked or your shoes weren't shined. He wasn't crazy about the Beatles' hair, but at least their suits matched (in the beginning, at least). So you can just imagine how appalled he became as more and more bands started growing out their hair and stopped dressing alike! And I know he would have been thrilled by their greeting international press in JEANS that have HOLES in them!
