Yvonne i was thinking exactly the same thing, i put on the Coventry thread last night that i selfishly hoped it would be played as i thing would be played at Southampton and 2nd Night at MK!!!

I hear that parking in Southampton is a nightmare. Anyone from Southampton confirm this? - I was thinking of parking either Marina area or Woolston and walk over the bridge.

really depends how much you are willimg to pay the town centre car parks will not be to bad on a friday, the best one would be the leasuire world (odean cinema) one i think it is only about £3 for the day and is about a mile from the stadium....

talking of which went down there today just to have a look around and the place is chock -a- block with lorries and equipment. and there was even a group of girls with rucksacks sat outside!!!!

My Word! - that's a long wait

I've just heard that the city centre is not the plsce to park, as i want to get out of Southampton as quickly as i can after the gig (not because i don't like it, just because i hate traffic jams).

Is the Marina or Woolston within walking distance. Most people i've spoken to say 10-15mins walk, which sounds perfect!

you could park at st.deny's train station? or the main southampton one both equal distance from the stadium looking at about £6 for the day, the st. denys one is out of the town centre and not far from the m27?

or ocean village is free parking but you would have to buy a cinema ticket and they give you a voucher to put in your car
