You put it on the chat, ok. No rules about it. You put it in the other band's YouTube thread, ok, fair. You created a topic about it... ok. There was really a need of after sharing it 3 times put it in a thread that got anything to do with it?

I know you want to share what you've done, but it's starting to get annoying.

On the bright side, this was less painful to watch than some recent versions of Always

Do you really think Sofia and Wien were better than Stockholm??
Wien had also 23 songs and the biggest rarity was Last Man Standing. In Sofia there was only 20 songs with no rarities...

If Jon keeps shouting the notes he can't reach like here, Hey God and Always, he's going to end up with hemorrhaged vocal chords.

Even worse than Dusseldorf 2006... when the song was taken out after 10 years of sleep.

I guess Jon wants this disaster of a tour to end as soon as possible. The only thing that's missing is Jon hurting his leg, again.

He must see a coach NOW!! Even they should downtune the songs if necessary (Scorpions, Europe and others have made it, and it worked, even it gave some songs -The zoo, Blackout, The final countdown- a heavier vibe)

Sad

Not Belgium. The shows since 2000 (except from Oostende 2000) have had sucky audience participation and a very early curfew. Just because the sets look good on paper doesn't mean it's was good.

I'm not gonna lie, I enjoyed the show alot. Yes, quite boring set if you look at it, no surprises really except DC.. BUT my expectations had been so low since Richies departure because:

1. I'd been sad and pissed off about the Richie thing in general, and had basically given up on having fun at the gig.

2. The pure fact that Richie wouldn't be there, his sound would be missed, his stage presence, chemistry with Jon etc..everything. He is my favourite Jovi member and one of my favourite guitarists in the world.

3. I was there in 2001 and the crowd sucked ass that time. Big ass.

....so therefor I went with no expectations of having a ball, but didn't want to bring my friend (who's a casual) down with me so I tried to be in a good mood either way.
Now.. I will be perfectly honest now, I was positively surprised. Maybe not with the set itself, very few surprises (and I thought there'd be something more after ITA), but this time I don't see how anyone who was there could say the crowd sucked. I thought the atmosphere was very good (I was GC front row at the catwalk, Hugh and Phil's side), and people around me both while standing in line and while in the staduim were still saying how they missed Richie in general and in specific songs. They could have been pissy the entire time, and same goes for me. However they weren't. I thought the new songs worked, surprisingly enough. Some people sang along to them even.. lol. Army of One sounded particularly good I think.
The dullest bits were imo CC (no surprise there) and acoustic Saturday Night. SIBSN is usually one of my favourite songs but it started off so weirdly right after MAM and people didnt realise what song it was until the chorus, because of Jon's slight mumbling.

There was a lumb in my throat at all the obvious Richie bits, the trademark solos and vocals that now obv had someone else all over them, and that goes for DC as well (greatest solo ever!!) BUT when David started that keyboard intro after the first break I basically broke down and cried outta happiness anyway. I haven't caught DC live before, and yes I get it... hearing it without Richie could be seen as being worse than not at all... but I still got that amazing feeling and no one can take that away from me. It's still the best Jovi song ever and in my top 10 songs in the world. Another nice part was that the people next to me seemed to feel the same. They were like omg no Richie... but they still had a happy-fit when DC came on.

So there, I enjoyed it alot. Might have been a dull set but my expectations had been so freakin low that I was like.. holy ****, they're still rocking my freakin socks, what's happenin!? And no, I did not think Jon sounded "particularly nasal this evening" as someone put it. He sounded like he usually does, but no super obvious low points imo. DC sounded strained in the beginning but other than that it sounded fine.

And yes sorry again for the wrong date in the thread title. I was typing on my phone while standing in line and the keys are so damn small. Didn't mean to do that.

ps: DAVID WAS ON FIRE (not literally )
