Well, no complaints here. I near cried when they started In These Arms...It was awesome. Most of the people around me weren't that into it though and it took half of them until the lyrics started to realize what song it was. Then, when Blood on Blood started!!!! WOOOHOOO!!! I was thinking of you Yomama!! Before Novocaine, Jon commented about having seen the future when he wrote it. You could see the support for Richie from the other guys and I thought that was really cool. I was ecstatic with the encore...I was beginning to get worried, because the rest of the set was pretty predictable. When they started with Novocaine, I was thinking, there's no way we're getting In These Arms and BoB. They still have to do Wanted...they won't do that many songs! Boy, was I wrong. LOL!


I'll Be There for You was simply incredible. Richie sang it solo, and I was blown away. He got totally into the song and the crowd reaction was amazing for him. Richie always gets a good reaction, but last night was like nothing I'd ever seen for him. And, considering how apathetic the people of Tampa often are (much to my frustration), I was happy to see the reaction they were giving the band.

The only disappointment of the night for me was Bells of Freedom. People behind me actually booed it. LOL. I took that time to talk to the girls next to me a little. Jon sings it well, I just am not a big fan of the song. And, it seemed to me that Jon wasn't as energetic as usual. He was still into the show, but just not so hyper (for lack of a better word). It seemed like he was just really laid back...maybe he had spent the day in the gorgeous weather we're having right now and was just nice and relaxed. I don't know, maybe Becky can explain it better. It was cool to meet Becky too! She's so nice and so is her friend Karen. And they have got the most amazing southern accents! Oh, and Becky, it's a good thing you got tickets where you did and didn't use the one I took. The girl in front of me had a ton of perfume on...you would have been sick the whole night.

Some other highlights of my evening...starting out by being late for meeting Becky. I didn't even think about 5 o'clock traffic on a Friday night! Duh!! Then, once I got to the Forum, I locked my keys in the car. After an hour wait and $45, I finally got back into my car. Then, I fall down on the stairs going to talk to Becky and Karen during intermission. I've got a nice bruise on my leg for that one. It was basically just one embarrassment after another! But, once the girls dressed as Supergirl, (cape and all!) came and sat next to me, my embarrassments didn't seem quite so embarrassing any more. LOL. They even had Christmas lights on their costumes to draw attention to themselves. They were hoping to get picked to go onstage. It didn't work.

So, overall, I was totally pleased with the show! The only thing better than a Bon Jovi show is knowing that you get to do it all over again the next night!

They do it well, don't get me wrong. I liked the rendition of it. Just personally, not a favorite. I can't quite put my finger on what I don't like about the song either...there's just something about it. Maybe because there are so many other songs (like anything from These Days!!!!!) that I'd like to hear instead.

I think I know what the problem is. The people around me in AC hated Bells, it actually got some boos where I was. You sit up front where all the backstage people are. They cheer no matter what song is played and no matter what happens. Its much different if you are in the back. I think this may be why we have very different reviews of the AC show.

Yes, you do have an excellent point there, lol! I was in the back for the first Chicago show and Bells was played and yea, it wasn't received well.
