Default Support Act

Hey,

I'm a german exchange student living in Saitama, Japan at the moment. I got a ticket for the show on sunday.
I have two questions concerning the concert.
Can somebody tell me something about the support act? Which group will play?
Is it allowed to take a digital camera to the concert? (I have a place at the terrace) I think there is some information about this on the ticket, but my japaneses isn't that good.

thy a lot,

MWF

The band are currently in TOKYO, JAPAN -- it's early in the morning there and when they wake up, they'll face a full day of press and promotion in support of the HAVE A NICE DAY tour and album. Here's what's on tap -- we can tell you what press they're doing but we can't help you with when it might air/run... we do what we can with the info we have:
JON will be doing interviews with NEWS JAPAN, Sankei Sports Newspaper, Hokkaido Shinbun, MEZAMASHI TV, BURNN! Magazine interview and photos, AP interview and MTV JAPAN.
RICHIE will be doing interviews/photos with PLAYER magazine, YOUNG GUITAR magazine, GUITAR magaine, BURNN! Magazine and DJ SNOOPY for radio.
TICO will be doing photos and interviews with DRUM magazine and BURNN! magazine
DAVID will be doing interviews and photos with KEYBOARD magazine and BURNN! magazine
HUGH will be doing interviews and photos with BASS Magazine and BURNN! Magzine

Tomorrow (April 8th) and Sunday (April 9th) are SHOW DAYS.
The band will receive Platinum Discs in a backstage ceremony on April 8th.
Japanese rock 'n' roll press legend MASA ITOH will be interviwing the band this weekend in Tokyo as well.

That's what we know for now... more when we get updates from the road.

Don't forget: the CMT Video Awards are on Monday, April 10th and BON JOVI are nominated for Collaborative Video of the year for the duet version of WHO SAYS YOU CAN'T GO HOME with Jennifer Nettles. Head over to CMT.COM, register and VOTE!!!!! The band would LOVE to get the news delivered to them while they're in Japan that they won!

(cue me on the big screen) JBJ: "How good have you been? Oh My God!" (laughs, more teasing) JBJ: "You want it huh, you want it huh? Blood on Blood just for you, the good girl in the front row? The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

Mm, I would be a very happy individual if they were on the covers of the respective instrument magazines.

The time from NY to GMT is -5 hours and the time from GMT to Tokyo is +9 hours. In this case the two numbers add and it is 13 hours. Does anyone know if anything is going to be shown on TV? I have a friend living in Japan who might be persuaded to record something for me.

9 + 5 = 14

silly.

The time difference between the UK and Japan is 8 hours now, Japan being 8 hours ahead.

So, the time different between NY (or the East Coast) and Japan is 13 hours as mentioned before.

Do you guys think Richie will really be able to play or will they use pre-recorded stuff and more work from Bobby? His arm is fractured in two places. I fractured my arm/wrist in one last October and it took several weeks for it to heal back to the strength I needed to do normal activitiy. Is it fair to Richie's health for him to play if he really can't? He could do more damage. I'm a bit worried about him!

Oh great... now i am going to probably wind up with an an ulcer worrying about him!!

I'm sure Richie really wants to play live but I hope that if he can cause further damage to his arm he does give in and let them use pre-recorded stuff or have Bobby play some of his parts. There is an interview that says Richie will be playing sitting down to help ease the pain of holding the guitar. Let's just hope he heals fast and is back to normal for Europe. Japan fans might be disappointed if Richie isn't playing all his normal parts but if I were them I'd be more disappointed if the band cancelled a show.

I hope they would fake it before they let him really hurt himself. Wiggle your fingers and feel how it moves up into your arm. His fingers are flying all night long, it's not just the weight of the guitar that is concerning. I know they know what they're doing and they'll have a doctor check him out. I just can't help but worry. I don't know why I worry about things I can do nothing about!
