from that blog:

"Jon told us he was in kind of those moods today and that he didn’t feel fit to lead Bon Jovi anywhere tonight, as he tried to introduce his fellow band members and totally forgot about Tico and Hugh."

Sad........

Agreed. I hate the way his moods affect how good a show is going to be.

What blog was that from anyways?

If he introduced the band during AOD Tico and Hugh always get left out, there isn't a place in that song for the two of them to solo since the intros are done during the guitar solo. I'm sure Tico and Hugh are just fine with it. He does introduce them when they do do intros with other songs, just not AOD.

Yep, and I'm sure that's what he was doing. Folks just overreact sometimes.

Some people always try to defend the band and Jon particulary...

Bon Jovi may be my favorite band, but the one area they've slipped the most (in my opinion) is their ability to choosse how to open and close a show.

1989 - Open with Lay Your Hands On Me and close with Bad Medicine. Perfect choices.
2007 - Open with Lost Highway and close with Captain Crash???? Opening I can deal with, but talk about leaving an audience with a let down of a feeling.

1993 - open with i believe and close with prayer
1995 - open with prayer or helter skelter and close with love song
1996 - open with lay your hands on me and close with prayer
2000 - open with prayer and close with Keep the Faith
and then it went downhill
2002 - closing with Twist & Shout
2003 - closing with Twish & Shout or Shout
2006 - opening with slooow last man standing and close with Threat her right
etc

The odds of him "totally forgetting about Tico and Hugh" are not very high to be honest, considering that Hugh's been there for 12 years, and Tico for almost 25 ....

And I really can't imagine Jon admitting "Yeah, I know I'm a bit shit today, I just don't feel like it ....". He might feel that way, but what would be the point in him admitting it?

Well they have been doing the intros this way since October whenever they use AOD as the intro song, I guess I figure that if Tico and Hugh really had an issue with it they would have spoken up long before now. Since they are still doing it this way, I would guess neither Tico or Hugh are crying foul if they don't get introduced.
