That was a real smarmy review - talk about left handed compliments geeze.

It appeared to be written by someone who recognized a good show when they saw one - but still had to take some shots because - after all it's Bon Jovi.

Exactly what I was thinking. And the comment about Richie's playing really pissed me off - it smacks of a man who doesn't realise what's intended to be melodic and what's more of a "jam".

Here's my two cents...

I thought the crowd was much more into it on night 1.

I was soo happy when they played KTF. (I thought they were going to play it Thursday - at one point Jon picked up the maracas!)

I was very surprised about how much they changed the set list from night 1! Very surprised!!

I didn't think AOD went over very well at all - although I appreciated hearing it.

And I thought for sure ILTT was going to make an appearance at some point.

Overall, they were both fantastic shows!! So glad I went to both - great mix of songs. March is such a long way off!

I was REALLY happy with the setlist and the energy last night. Its only my third show in the 5 years or so that I've been a fan and the best by far. Although the energy was great for the "big hits" like Prayer, Bad Medicine, Its my Life etc. I was a little disappointed that songs like Any Other Day (which I personally went crazy for), In These Arms and I'd Die for You got very mediochore reactions from the crowd. It seemed like Stranger especially was a good excuse for everyone to take a piss break (better view for me!). I havn't seen a show since the last time they played Toronto last about 2 years ago. Man I don't remember the "It's Alrights" for WSYCGO going on for quite that long. Overall though I was really pleased and thought the band sounded great ... better grab some tickets for March fast.

I have two questions. I've been avoiding the board since the Pru shows so as not to spoil the surprises by reading the setlists for the shows. Has the band brought out any Christmas songs thus far? I was sort of expecting one last night. Also since when has Jon taken to not introducing the entire band? I dont' think Tico got mentioned at all.
