Steph...does Ticketmaster or the venue/s do 'ticket drops' for BJ shows? - I know that some places have for U2 gigs over there. Probably is off no advantage to anyone living too far away from the venue, but for those that are nearby, might be worth a thought.

As some people have mentioned, Wild in the Wind was played. They started the intro and I thought to myself, "There is no way they are going to play Wild Is the Wind" and when I realized that they were, I got goosebumps, began to shake and was on the verge of tears. The guy beside me leaned over to ask if I was okay cuz I let out one helluva scream when Jon started singing. Blood on Blood in the encore was fantastic too. When it started, I thought it was Captain Crash. When it clued in that it wasn't, again with the screaming. I apologize to anyone sitting within 3 rows of me. I don't think I sat down once during the show, unlike most of the people in my section. Toward the end of the show, someone came up to my friend and I, handed us "Bon Jovi Bucks" because it seemed like we were having a good time!

Jon prepared a speech/press release regarding the incident that occured in Hamilton. It was something along the lines of "Rumours of our death were greatly exagerated. The most serious injury was to Richie Sambora who spilled his drink and to the flight attendent who broke a nail bringing him a paper towel." Then they launched into a great version of I"ll Sleep When I'm Dead. The arena went absolutely nuts during IML and HAND. I got shivers during Wanted as well. There's just something about that song. KTF had jungle screams - if there were a fainting icon, it would go here LOL All of the new songs sounded pretty darn good. I'm really starting to like Story of my Life and was excited to hear Novacaine. Oh and Just Older was played as well. I didn't see that on the setlist that was posted earlier.

Jon was interacting quite a bit with the audience. This one girl ran up to the catwalk and had a full blown conversation with Jon. As security was trying to drag her away, Jon gave her a kiss. He also kissed another girl in the fan pit - like grabbed her face and pulled her in! I'll probably get shot for saying this (especially on this board) but how lucky were those girls? I so wished I could have been the second girl.

Ryan, I think you asked why Canada. Jon said that being from New Jersey, doing four sold out shows in Toronto was something else. He seemed really sincere when he said it too. I loved when he mentioned playing at the El Mocambo.

I was so excited headed into the concert tonight, and walked out even more pumped. Bon Jovi far exceeded my wildest expectations. Although I didn't get to hear a song from These Days, I wouldn't change the setlist for anything. I'm with Kathleen in hoping someone taped this show tonight (and I pray it wasn't the guy sitting in front of me). I'm seriously considering going down to the ACC on Monday and buying a ticket from a scalper.

Once I upload my pictures, I'll post some of them here. But right now, I should probably get some sleep.

Steph

Wild Is The Wind!!! Im so excited that they played this!! By the way, if they can perform this classic it proves that Jon is still capable of belting out songs like Always, TAALS, I Am, IBTFY, Hey God etc.

What a great setlist! Looking down the songs, there's nothing I would change. Can't believe I could have been there, if Ticketmaster had only offered me decent tickets on the on sale date. I hope we get a similar setlist on the 30th.

I especially want to hear Richie sing a verse of Wanted (I've always wanted to hear Richie sing) and don't want to hear get Capt. Crash.

Somone upthread mentioned that 1/2 of Canada is attending these 4 shows. I think you're right. I know of 3 other people who are flying to Toronto for 1 of the shows.

So, to those who attended last night, was there any different merchandise? Was the mousepad still there? Anything autographed? Just trying to decide, what if anything, I'll want to buy.
