I think most people think it is special because it hardly ever gets played live in the US. I've never seen it and I would be excited to get the chance to someday.

I even noticed a few people in the floor section that sat the entire show. No singing along, no dancing, no anything. The crowd was definitely not into the show last night, which is really unfortunate. It was pretty upsetting that ITA and Shout were my two favourite songs from last night.
I am really shocked they didn't play it too. I thought for sure NSG would close the show. As for the crowd not being into it.. maybe that could be why they chose to skip These Days.. figuring the crowd ain't into it so they wouldn't appreciate it or know a song such as TD (most, not the die hards obviously). It would have been AMAZING to hear These Days but at least you got ITA .. not to mention the others from nights 1,2, and 3.

No Blood on Blood, maybe in the summer, 7th show... No Blood. This is getting depressing.

I am really bummed for you on this one too. Believe me I know.. it took me ten years to hear it live and it was so special but it all happened so fast ~ I sometimes can't even believe it. I want to hear it again so badly. It WAS in the encore in Buffalo, not even an audible like it was in Albany when I heard it so so I thought I was going to hear it again and really die but then they did frieken Capt Crash and Just Older....God I was SOOO disappointed.

I am heading over to the thread to sign the ITA/BOB brigrade.

Blood on Blood especially should be played at EVERY SHOW. It is a song that I feel literally defines the band. And now that Jon's voice has improved so much there is really no reason he can't sing it everynight.

Default Just back from Toronto

I just got home from the airport. This will be a short review, I'll be posting a detailed one, plus any pictures that turned out on my fansite.

I loved the show, but as I was expecting the final Toronto show to be extra special and was really hoping for a rarity, I was particularly disappointed when I saw a setlist after the show and realized all the audibles we didn't get, specifically These Days.

I was also surprised when it ended at 2 1/4 hrs instead of 2 1/2. Was Jon not feeling well? My sister thought she heard him say he had a frog in his throat and at the beginning he spent a lot of time drinking and wiping his face with towels. He still had lots of energy though.

When I heard the music for ITA, I thought of the ITA brigade and Yomamas. My sister was thrilled as she loves that song and I was pleased as it was my first time hearing it live too.

As I've mentioned before, Capt. Crash, isn't a favourite, so I wasn't thrilled when it was the 3rd song (there were so many others that could have replaced it), however, at least it was over and done with early on.

I really enoyed Wild in the Streets, KTF, Raise Your Hands, plus all the HAND songs. And I still love Bad Name, as that concert version video is the song that made me a fan.

I guess the best part for us was the acoustic section. Jon was only 1 section over from us, and we were able to scoot over halfway into that section during the songs. And then we went down the aisle to row 2 so when Jon walked past he was literally right in front of us!

I thought the crowd was ok, at least the ones around me. Everyone stood the entire time and were very much into the show.

Even though I would have liked more, I had a great time and just wish I could do it all again.

I'll post the link to my review and pictures once I get it uploaded.
