It was nice to hear "Welcome" but the already sort of mellow crowd (in comparison to MSG) kind of lost its momentum even more when the band comes out with an unfamiliar tune (to the casual fans that is). I'm just pissed I've been to three shows already- and STILL no Last Cigarette!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not a big fan of Everyday (would much rather hear the Distance) but it sounded pretty darn good in the encore and it got a great reception.

It was a good show...but man, my boyfriend and I just kept reminding each other what exactly was next. It was to the point we had the cues down. People around us musta thought we were freaks. Maybe they're right hahaha. But honestly, that's how predictable and to-the-book these shows are. Can't they at least be spontaneous and switch it up a bit? The best, most spontaneous part was when Jon did his 'time warp' thing. He counted down the years...and when he hit 1987 he had the goofiest look on his face and he stopped...the crowd went wild!

Poor Jon almost fell into the crowd walking back during Bed of Roses...he was walking on top of the hockey barricades, so it couldn't have been easy to keep balance on that. He didn't look so happy hahaha!

I want Keep the Faith!!! I wish I coulda gone to the Philly shows...they sounded like the best yet.

The crowd was really only into the popular songs. It was just odd being on the floor and being one of the few people raising my hands up for the majority of the night. Very surreal being in a crowd that wasn't into it like MSG. Oh well, it's to be expected. Too bad we can't go to the Jersey shows- no doubt the crowd is gonna go wild.
But you've been to three shows. They don't cater their setlist and verbal stage raps to the people that are going more than 2 times, I reckon. Im reading these setlists and Im blown away how much more they're switching it up compared to the last few tours.

I don't think they're switching it up half as much as they did at the end of the Bounce tour. I can't even tell you how many times - between the show at the Vet, and the two at Giants - that I was blown away with the surprises.

Of course I don't think they'd cater to the fans that get to see them more often. But don't you think they could get bored playing the same songs in the exact same order? That's all I'm sayin'. Maybe it's just a bad idea following the setlists to begin with.

But you can't compare the beginning of this tour to the end of the last. The end of the tour has them as a well oiled machine. If they aren't switching it up by THAT point, THEN there's a problem. This time around, they started it off running and varied the setlists. You gotta compare first month of this tour to the first month of the last one I guess.
