Exactly - is it note perfect? - no. Is it better than playing it the other way? - oh yeah

And I will predict that it will get better if he keeps singing it. The first IBTFY was iffy in Newark and Jon was singing parts of it flat. I heard a youtube version from elsewhere recently and it sounded far better. Practice make better if not perfect.

I'm going to say probably around 18 000 - but that would be for hockey. A concert would be slightly more since you have all the seats on the floor.

A very good rendition of Blaze. It isn't perfect but he holds his own on this one. I sometimes think the various renditions live are as much to change things up a bit as they are to protect Jons voice. I think he sometimes gets enamored of a version of a song for awhile, he likes how it sounds and feels, likes the vibe it creates etc.... so he plays it that way for a time.
His voice isn't as bad as some people paint it to be. He can still belt it out when he wants to and while I do think much of the time live he does play it safe to protect his voice , it's more because he
s looking at the big picture, ie he has to sing xxx number of nights than it is because he just can't do it. If the breaks currently in the tour schedule hold up we should get some excellent shows all around so don't bemoan the breaks between runs, it may prove beneficial for all of us.
