I enjoyed Live.

I still listen to them now.

Tuning their guitar in the middle of a song?? WTF?!?!
You would think that a band of their stature would at least have one back up guitar in case of their main one having tech difficulties. Wouldn't have expected that of them.

I would not believe everything a certain guy says here. He also said that U2 were bad and Bono was totally out of tune. Unfortunately (or fortunately for those who were REALLY there) that was not the case. But I did not like Live either I have to admit

Yeah me too.

Their sound was shite at Hyde Park though, and the crowd were very lethargic.

More of a studio band.

I really liked SR-71. I hate they broke up or fell off the face of the earth, whatever reason they quit making music. MB20, Van Halen, Kid Rock, and Nickelback were all openers in Europe. I made my point by using opener examples from both sides of the pond. The GGD may be popular, but I thought they were one of the worst live bands I've ever seen. I'd take an unknown artist over them again any day.

Personally, I don't care too much about the opening bands. They have no influence over whether or not I buy tickets to a Bon Jovi concert. I felt like I got lucky seeing Daughtry, Nickelback, and Sheryl Crow as openers, but I wouldn't have stayed home had they not been on the bill.

My favorite opening band was the Goo Goo Dolls, I didn't mind Nickelback, and I didn't like Daughtry. It's a little bit of a downer that St. Paul is one of the few cities on this leg to not have Dashboard open (being replaced by a local band) but it doesn't really matter.

Except I also went to see U2 and they were ****ing terrible, mate. They're now the worst big band I've ever seen play. Wasn't just me, my wife thought the same. While their were a few songs that sounded okay, most of the Glasgow gig was atrocious and they totally murdered with or without you.

I quite enjoyed Live actually. I'd only call them average, but their songs have no power as such on the records either.

I'm resigned to the fact that Bon Jovi have lost interest in the acts who support them.

Haven't been to Glasgow but I was at Berlin and both London shows and I have seen U2 often since Zoo TV 1993 and they were absolutely on top of their game. The huge show was amazing but did not take anything away from the music. Bono sounded great. He might be a lil bored of WOWY but they had balls openin with 4 songs of the new album in a row. Something BJ would never do. But it's only an opinion - loved the 360 Tour and will love it again at Munich & Vienna in the summer. Don't mind not seeing Jovi this year I gotta say...

Mr. Big should open their shows.

Sadly they prefer modern and shitty bands.

Best regards,
