You really are living in another decade aren't you?

Jungleland, maybe it WAS just an off show, but for a band of their stature an off show should be a few notes wrong or a song or two, not three quarters of the show. And opening with 4 new songs? Brave maybe but definitely not conducive to a great atmosphere. I'd never pay to go and see them again. Was all flash and no substance.

Faultless

Faultless even on the high notes

just like on record

I don't understand where you coming from I am sorry - If Jon sang this great everyone would be happy but it is sadly not the case. Bono sounds as good as he was at the shows - he doesn't even TRY to avoid the high notes - listen to the "stay" part in "fire" - amazing! Maybe you need a hearing aid buddy

Sadly they prefer modern and shitty bands.

Eric Martin makes Jon sound like an early 80's Steve Perry nowadays. Having Mr. Big would do nothing but highlight the gulf in class between the two bands which wouldn't have been the case 20 years ago.

Still think the best opening acts i saw were Dan Reed Network, Lita Ford, Thunder, Van halen, Europe. Heavens Basement did Twickers 2 i think and there a crackin rock n roll band unlikely they would again though. I would like to see Airborne or Luke Morley's( ex thunder) new band The union

I thought you saw them on the SWW tour with FM in their silky suits and a keyboard player called Didge Digital? Even better was 85 with Lee Aaron although not sure if she sounded any good but who cares?

Well said.

I don't understand what's the point of shitty Post-Grunge or Pop Punk bands opening for Bon Jovi.

Brink back the Hard Rock acts!

No mate,Sebs site says it was Queensryche but I went to 3 shows on that tour including LDM and it was deffo FM. I,ve only seen Queensryche once and that was supporting Dio in 84.

I can hear fine. Hit me with as many You Tube links as you want. I was at the show and really, really wanted to be blown away...and both me and my wife left with the exact same feeling of total disappointment. I've got tons of U2 live tracks..I really thought they would be great...but on the night they didn't deliver, and for someone whose a casual listener, the opening AND ending the show with tracks I didn't care for was like a damp squib.
