Ok so this has p***ed me off

Why are people so keen to defend the band here.

How can you see this as anything but a crock?

£90 is a couple week's disposable income for a lot of people these days. Why shouldn't they be pissed off?

I'm confused, last time at Manchester there was only the gold circle and then GA? Those fan club chimps were let in first (not that many of them to be honest) and then those of us with GC were let in. I was behind the fangimps (about 10 metres from the stage?) What's all this two circle nonense?

Is it just me, or do I remember this same discussion last time as well!? And it turned out fine in the end..

In Germany they were just 3 Euros more expensive (2 pounds), it was just loads of trouble getting 6 of them from ebay.

Explain to me how I have got into ''gold circle'' several times before, for both Bon Jovi and several other bands (aerosmith, REM and last night Bruce) and I'm not a member of any corrupt fanclub. I'll tell you how - I was down early and queued!
Croke Park on the HAND tour was the first time that they did this whole gold circle thing officially here and charged for it, whereas before it had been there but was providing purely a safety function, now TM/promoters have realised the potential for a quick buck and jacked the price up.
I was 10 rows from the stage inside the front (and only) pit last night at Springsteen, and had queued only for a couple of hours to get there. At no extra cost either, just the time I was prepared to queue for (which wasnt long). I queued for 4 times the duration for Jovi WITH a ticket almost twice the price and only got into the 2nd enclosure last time.

Well if you look at the Bounce tour when the whole GC thing started, the GC for the UK shows were quite big with no divide, probably half the pitch in some cases, people complained then... It seems to me this time round and in 2006 with the divide there taking precaution on a security level by splitting the GC...

Even if you accept that to be the case (which it isn't - really, how dangerous/wild/crushed are Bon Jovi shows?), what excuse would they have for not advertising this when they sold the tickets?

the fact that everybody is moaning about how the GC is arranged actually says to me that you all knew what the stakes were when you bought them. I don't understand it, yes it's a lot of money, but nobody has forced you to buy those tickets. This is my holiday this year which is why i'm going to 4. I would love to be near the front, but I am just so happy to be going. No one knows it's going to be 2 circles - so stop panicking as you might not have anything to worry about!!!

i didn't have a clue what the stakes were when i bought them , i thought i'd definately be in the front pit. Don't get me wrong , i am grateful to be going but to be paying £90 to be in the 2nd pit , well as i said if i had known about that i would much rather of bought GA tickets for half the price. hopefully i'm just panicking over nothing though !

As said earlier, just get there as soon as you can and make a day of it! I've done it many times and always had a good day on the day of the show :0
