I don't like the reformed crue I think they are a sad relic of what once was amazing and spectacular.

It was all 4 original members of KISS in 1996, but it was just a shell. Yet, because it was the original 4, no matter how badly they played the renditions of the classics, it was "magic" to some people. It was cool for about 5 seconds, after that they should have gotten Kulick and Singer back. It sucked watching someone like Paul Stanley be held back by a nostalgia machine.

In all fairness, I haven't seen the Crue or this DVD yet, so it might be better...but I won't hold my breath. As much as I like pyro, it doesn't distract me from crap soulless performances.

I saw Motley when they came to P.R. back in Valentines day.
Have to admit, they rocked but claiming they are selling out everywhere is faaaar from reality. They did sell out in a lot of markets when the tour was new, but they haven't been selling out EVERYWHERE, that's just to much of a strech.

I also don't understand how anybody that takes the piss on Jons voice could let a Vince Neil performance pass, the guy skips every second word in almost every song and being the fat lazy bastard that he is, runs out of breath walking from one side of the stage to the next.
If you can say that motley cares about it's fans, and then take the piss on Bon Jovi saying that they don't care because they don't change their setlists enough, take a look at some of motley's setlists, It's the same show night after night, give or take 3 songs.

the thing is, with bon jovi, its only a minority of the fans that want all those rarities. so its totally normal for them to play their hits. although it would be nice for them to change it up a bit, i dont think it will happens. and thats part of why they are still selling out pretty much everywhere they go which wouldnt be the case if theyd be playing all unknown stuff.

so yeah it would be great to hear rare stuff but the fact is it wont happen regularly, which i can understand

It's been out since February! What do you expect?
