Default Old Trafford

My Dad said I might be able to get tickets for my birthday, which is a month after. How long will it be before they sell out?

Well considering all I could get for Manchester at 6pm this evening were tickets for the South Stand (!?), I think you'd better be quick!

I find that hard to believe - but all it'll give me is seating.

Should I wait for General Sale????

Help needed asap

Cheers - Mike

There are only certain seats/tickets that are allocated to the American XS program. Being only able to get seating means that the number of standing seats assigned to American XS, have already been sold.

I dont think they will sell out anyway, they struggle to sell out big venues in the UK nowadays.

According to the guy at ticketmaster - they were only allocated seating tickets.

When the tickets go on general public sale, where can I get them from?

My dad thinks I will be able to get a package from a local company, which will include the coach trip there too. Anyone else live in Merseyside?

Coach companys usually do trips like this. The best bet is to check a sunday newspaper as some of those usually have shows/concerts etc in. I think the tickets will go on sale through Ticketmaster and a few other ticket agencys. Keep checking the msg boards as people will post the info when they know. The tickets for the General Public go on sale on Saturday 9th November, but they wont sell out. Just keep checking here and bonjovi.com and also backstagejbj.com

Hi

here you are... Paul...

Picaddily train station is nowhere near old trafford. if you're travelling into manchester from outside you need to get off at picaddily (or victoria if you're coming from the north), then get either a bus or tram (or taxi/car whatever suits you best) to old trafford which is virtually in salford (where the lowry is and imperial war museum...)... it is about 10 mins drive from city centre if that helps also.

Salford is very nice though around there - it's not like Moss Side where the gig was in 96 - and where I actually got assaulted by a guy who was drugged up on something (I was 12 or 13 then).

Don't want to sound like a tourguide lol, but anyone going down there should check out the Lowry and Imperial war museum and walk round the docks. Restaurants there are loads within about 10 mins walk from the ground and a cafe in the lowry and the war museum.

If anyone wants to know any more info let me know. Nearer time i'll let everyone know what the bus numbers are etc from the city centre.

Don't suppose anyone can return the favour and tell me any info about Mollineux? i went to wolverhampton to see keith emerson at the civic hall, and next week to see uli jon roth, jack bruce, frank marino and glenn hughes at the wulfrun... but they are all in the centre...

... any info would be appreciated...

might even treat myself to hyde park nearer the time but that would cost a hell of a lot and you'd have to go down pretty early to be near the front.

One more little bit of info for people. There's a 'bootleg' shop in Manchester too inside "Afflex Palace" that has quite a few BJ shows on CD - some on video... and there are places in the colliseum and various record shops with old vinyl (lots of vinyl bootlegs) and also old tour t-shirts, programmes etc... key chains.... of all 80s (some 70s) bands... maiden, scorpions, BJ, aerosmith, deep purple, skid row etc.....

i'm enjoying this so any more info - just let me know

Thanks
