One Person's Review Of The "HAND" Tour 05/06

long enough to know that it is the best board for decent critical discussion about the band....'same old' in terms of what can be found on most other boards most of the time, not that where praise is due it should be given, but I am not sure that someone who has a clear obsession with the band is best placed to write a review that can be dubbed sufficiently objective and informative. But I am genuinly happy that the music and the experience of a bon jovi concert can really brighten peoples lives

I like that the DC forum allows for open minded people and certainly seems more friendly than other BJ-related set ups. Hence why I posted my friend's review here. I know from being her BJ buddy for many years, there is no obsession but rather a deep admiration for what this band can do. Like me, my friend does not like everything that comes from Bon Jovi and I know both the "Crush" and "Bounce" tours were not right up there for my pal. The reason shows were added during the "HAND" tour was simply because it had gone to a new level for both of us and the enjoyment was plentiful. If there was one negative to come from the "HAND" tour it would be nothing heard from "These Days" but I think this is more expectation than disappointment as I love, love, love this album and would like to hear something in the live arena as it has been ten years way too long between "TD" tracks!

My friend and I have both been verbally kicked to the curb for speaking out in the negative at times because some people do seem to truly think you must like everything that spins from the BJ machine. For me personally, this aint so but I try to respect his/her own opinion even when I disagree. These can be the same people that want "SWW" Volumes 1 thru 12 with no change ever happening! For me that is boring, really boring! But I digress.

Anyways, just wanted to say thanks for listening/reading and may the atmosphere here at DC remain friendly and open minded and welcoming for everyone.
