Default Osaka #2 gig

What does everyone here think of that gig. I got the bootleg and it sounds awesome. Jon's voice is back in shape and Right Of Wrong is just great live. Can't wait to see them

How cool are those new rifs on Prayer? Very cool! And what about the ending of The Distance.

Thanks Thierry, you´re THE MAN! Thanks Sara, you´re THE WOMAN!

I think Jon's voice is sounding much better in this show (maybe its the rest over Christmas???? ) Right Side of Wrong sounds great, and The Distance, particularly the end, is amazing live. I'll can't wait to hear more - Thanks again Thierry

it's a great show

i'm up to i'll be there for you

only upsetting bit is the lack of the scream near the end but richie's voice lends perfectly to the song

i like the fact that jon is adlibbing some of earlier songs such as just older and runaway...

i noticed springsteen does that a lot when he doesn't want the fans to sing along... by confusing them...

i think i'll follow the sets for the first few dates of the US tour and then I will try to stay away from them till Europe so it is a surprise for me...

it always makes the show so much more special if you don't know what to expect

That show is INCREDIBLE!!!!!!! I've only listened to about half of it and already I'm in awe. Thanks to Theirry and Sara for it.

I think Jon sings pretty good, but the crowd is really lousy. Just listen to the rap between 16 and 17 and all the singalong parts...

BTW, ad libbing isn't a way to tell the audience they can't sing along. If you've sung the same song for 20 odd years, you might get tired of it and singing it differently is somewhat a change.

New riffs? Where? I just listened to it two times and I didn't hear anything out of the ordinary...

The band plays well, and I gotta say it's good to see that Dave and Richie get to sing in IBTFY.
