I think it's the Japanese culture to politely listen to the band and applaud after each song. I seem to remember an interview once where Jon referred to this and said that it took a little getting used to. I also remember Jon saying how at the end of a concert instead of everyone rushing to exit the venue, they exit in an orderly manner, row by row.

I love the concert, BTW. Thanks again Sara and Thierry for making it available for us.
