Standing tickets for Bruce and the E street at Dublin in July were £87.

Not many acts charge that much.

Still, it was Bruce he's worth it

Not defending Jovi, but their Tickets for Opening the New Giants are more cost-friendly than the ESB's run to close the old one.

That's true Terri. The last 2 tours I have noticed Bruce "borrowing" from Jon. Frankly I think that Jon borrows far more from SSJ than from Bruce, but they are all similar.

As an aside from the show last night - Southside mentioned that Bobby would be joining Bon Jovi and that they would have new guitarist for awhile (Billy Walton). Bobby immediately wisecracked into the microphone - yeah - from one asshole to another SSJ came right back with - yeah - that's what Jon said

It's all in the family guys - that's part of what many people don't understand. Just last week Bruce and SSJ did a benefit concert together for Boston College (no I wasn't there - I couldn't afford the fundraiser tickets at $10,000 per ticket) And you guys are complaining about these prices LOL.

BTW just to point out, I made this thread light-heartedly. I am angry with the 02 prices but y'know, they do put on a brilliant show but as Terri said, so do all the Jersey boys Although I haven't had the pleasure of seeing Southside yet but I'll take your words for it

In case anyone is interested, it was implied last night at BS by Matt that Bruce was not a good comparison because he did not sell out all his shows at Giants.

Yeah, I don't know about at all price points, but at the top of the scale, Bruce was much cheaper. The top regular tickets for Jovi are $150.00, and they were $98.00 for Bruce.

And you have to pay at least $550 to be anywhere NEAR the stage for Jovi this tour.

Isn't that just for the O2 shows?
